# Install WordPress

WordPress can be installed from the hosting panel in one step.

### On a new website

1. Open your [hosting panel](/knowledgebase/open-hosting-panel/)
2. Open **Websites**
3. Select **Add website**
4. Choose **Install an app**
5. Select WordPress
6. Enter the domain (or use preview until DNS is ready)
7. Set the WordPress admin email, username, and password
8. Select **Add**

### On a website that already exists

1. Open **Websites**
2. Select the website
3. Open **Apps**
4. Select **Install app**
5. Select WordPress and complete the form
6. Select **Add**

More WordPress tools are in the hosting panel under Apps on that site.

Do not install WordPress a second time on a site that already has it.
