# Point your domain at Get Simple

The site and email go live when the domain’s nameservers (or DNS records) point at Get Simple.

### If we registered the domain

1. Sign in at https://billing.getsimple.net
2. Open **Domains**
3. Confirm the domain is in the account
4. Use the nameservers shown on the hosting service

### If the domain is at another registrar

1. Sign in at https://billing.getsimple.net
2. Open **Services** and select the hosting row
3. Copy the nameservers shown there
4. At the registrar, replace the current nameservers with those two values
5. Save

DNS changes can take from a few minutes up to 24–48 hours.

### Before nameservers are live

Use the panel’s temporary preview link until DNS is live.

Do not keep the old host’s nameservers if this account should serve the website.
