Joomla can be installed from the hosting panel in one step.
On a new website #
- Open your hosting panel
- Open Websites
- Select Add website
- Choose Install an app
- Select Joomla
- Enter the domain (or use preview until DNS is ready)
- Set the Joomla admin email, username, and password
- Select Add
On a website that already exists #
- Open Websites
- Select the website
- Open Apps
- Select Install app
- Select Joomla and complete the form
- Select Add
More Joomla tools are in the hosting panel under Apps on that site.
Do not install Joomla a second time on a site that already has it.
